Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club lies across the sea from the resort on its own beautiful island, Ile aux Cerfs—"Deer Island." The deer are gone, and what was created here has been described as a "marvel of the game." It is one of the "Top 10 Golf Courses in the World" by Golf World magazine. The 87-hectare Ile Aux Cerfs boasts a coastline of small bays, coves, and headlands—undulating natural topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and ravines, and a variety of tropical trees and plants. The course covers 38 hectares and is the longest in Mauritius, with holes winding up and down the length of the island.
