Created in 1987 on a 100-hectare estate, the Vaucouleurs golf course is a private commercial golf course located less than an hour from Paris, in Civry-la-Forêt in the Yvelines department. The club offers two 18-hole courses, Les Vallons and La Rivière, which are as different aesthetically as they are technically. Designed by architect Michel Gayon, the Vaucouleurs golf course is set around the restored buildings of a large, old farmhouse. The quality of the course maintenance and the courtesy of the club make it a classic, with a national reputation, recognized by numerous federal competitions.
