Golf Orléans Limere
Located on the Parc de Limère, on the edge of the Sologne forest, with a clubhouse, hotel, restaurants, cottages and balneotherapy centre in the immediate vicinity, the Limère golf course offers a high-flying course in terms of its design, its environment and its very careful maintenance. Considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in France, the Limère Golf Course offers an interesting 18-hole (par 72) layout of 6221 m which allows, through pines, oaks and birches, a very varied game. The fairways and greens are well defended by alternating bodies of water and numerous bunkers. It is one of the most popular for organising championships. Although it may seem easy to approach, it nevertheless requires technique and tactics and can surprise good players, particularly on its extremely rolling greens. Bogeys are easier than pars. It has a large training area with a 30-bay practice range (15 of which are covered) on grass and carpet, a putting green, a pitching green, practice bunkers and a pitch and putt (6 holes) excellent for learning and perfecting the short game.
