The Mazamet - La Barouge golf course extends its 5,635 m over 54 ha. Two rivers intertwine there. The Thoré to the West and the Issalès which crosses it from East to West. The golf course could just as well be a botanical park, an arboretum. A non-exhaustive list of its trees and shrubs established in 1991 by Philippe Durand of the Société Castraises de Sciences Naturelles listed no fewer than 21 local species and 53 imported species! Add to that the Montagne Noire which serves as its setting and you will find there one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region.
