But it offers the advantage of being shaded when the heat hits the plain in summer, of being sheltered from the wind on most of its holes and above all of being playable all year round where a few neighbours turn white when winter arrives. While a deer crosses a fairway in complete serenity, a pheasant - and there are many of them - pecks at the edges of a green, you might be looking for a ball in a sloping rough like on the 4th or 15th, but no matter, the main thing at the Forêt de Montpensier is to have fun, and why not take root.\\\
