The Albatross harmoniously combines the aspect of links and that of target courses. Water hazards, vast bunkers and undulating fairways nestle between hills on which undulate the fescues of the high roughs, the real difficulty of the course, especially when the wind gets involved. The holes are clear and traps, risks or obstacles are never hidden. The vast greens, apparently not very eventful, are exciting to read for some very long putts that you may have to play. The Aigle will take you for a stroll between mounds, clumps of broom and tufts of tall grass and you will discover that little air of Scotland in the Ile de France which appeals to all the players who play it... Wide fairways, few bunkers and good greens allow for good scores...if you are having a good day... With 5961 meters from the most distant markers for a par 71, the Aigle is tolerant for all, fun for most and demanding for the best.
