Golf de Saumane Provence Country Club
The Provence Country Club golf course was designed in 1989 by Jean Garaïalde who was inspired by the layout of the Carpentras Canal as well as the natural hilly landscapes of rocky escarpments and thickets. The distance of the course is 6099 meters from the white tees with 38 strategically placed bunkers. The vegetation reflects Provence with its pines, olive trees and beds of laurels, roses, lavender and rosemary. The site is surrounded by the Luberon, the Monts de Vaucluse, and, in the distance, the Alpilles with superb views of the lakes and fountains. Golf Provence Country Club is recognized as a "reference" course in the region.
