The legendary 18-hole, par 72 championship course has consistently been ranked among the top 10 courses in South Africa (it is currently ranked #5 in South Africa by Golf Digest magazine). Hole 8 has been described as one of the finest par 5s in South Africa, and hole 18 has been ranked as one of the finest finishing holes in the country. The course was designed and built by renowned South African golf architect Peter Matkovich in 1999. Since then, numerous professionals and celebrities have enjoyed the Arabella Golf experience, including Jack Nicklaus, Samuel L. Jackson, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Ronan Keating, Lee Westwood, Tim Clark, and Gary Player.
