Paarl Golf Club Boschenmeer
The stunning 27-hole Paarl Golf Course is located in the picturesque valley on the outskirts of Paarl, South Africa's third-oldest town. The course, originally laid out on the banks of the Berg River in the 1950s, was redesigned by Danie Obermeyer and David Frost. David Frost, a Paarl native and still a leading winemaker in the region, brought his local knowledge and experience from the American and European professional golf tours to the course design. The course is a unique 27-hole layout—some holes meander along the Berg River, while others are lush, tree-lined canals that offer the golfer a harmonious blend of risk and reward. The water hazards pose the greatest challenge, with most holes featuring a water trap that requires careful attention from any golfer—even the pros.
